My MAXX Review. I'm sure is filled with grammar errors.

Short version. This pipe just wants to be at full throttle. Get it at least 20% off at one of the sales, IF you need another over-the-top pipe for your outings.
The long, and it long and I tried to cover everything, Total bowls smoked it 9 with the MAX bowl and 1 with the bastard bowl. Still smoking daily to do more testing.

The Maxx pipe is like any exotic super sports car, some like Farrari, some like Porsche, they all have their fan boys. This particle model to me is just like one of those. It by no means is or should be a starter pipe or a pipe for anyone who plans to smoke it once a year (unless you're just a collector) and then put it back on the shelf.
Allow me to explain as I work top down. The bowl comes separate, and that's a whole another post. The pipe up top has a built in mol catcher right where the tray fits over. For me it was a slight to much restriction but luckily the top of it screws off internally, so it becomes much more open. It is also not needed if you use the Maxx bowl becomes of the raised internal lip on the bowl. So, if you use a Maxx bowl with the pipe, the Mol catcher is basically unneeded, at least I have never had it drip down the shaft. So, if you do get the bowl, just open the top of the Mol catcher and it opens right up. That being said, the tray does have these fins on it that don't seem to do anything. if they were metal then sure...maybe... but it's a hard plastic that's mainly for looks, I think. There is a smaller metal tray on top of it that I'm more comfortable using simply because it's a slight bother to clean the ash out of the fins on the tray.
The shaft is pretty, not much to talk about here, you can't open it or it voids the warranty.
The heart is interesting in that it has a propeller blade thing in it. It does not spin itself however it will direct the purging air in neat ways. The hose port is large and grommet-less.
The down stem is not large, it's on the medium side gauge wise. No diffuser so its loud.
The hose itself has a very small opening on the tip that at first I instantly hated, however I see why now, and this is the fun part.
This pipe needs to be smoking, it's not a let sit for a while type pipe and what I mean by that is it like, how do I explain it.
After I inhale for 3 to 4 seconds and then exhale after about 2 seconds later, it wants to be smoked almost immediately, if you wait more than 10 seconds, you might as well purge it and start a new draw. For me I purge a lot anyways, so it works well for me, however if you are not a purge person than it's not for you.
You should get it IF you need a very nice-looking pipe for your going outs to local lounges or group meets. It is not really a share pipe, in fact a would say no, it's just not. It is a very beautiful pipe that will treat its one smoker very well, and if that person just wants to puff away and people watch or enjoy the scenery then this works for that.
It is very expensive, I would honestly say only get this AFTER you have a B2, Regal, MIG or Stimulation. Those pipes are masters of most types of smoking, The Maxx pipe is a Master of one, it's single job is to provide just you, a good smoke and look fantastic while doing it. The best way I can explain this is my crazy ending statement.
This is the first pipe I have had that I feel like I need to lay down after, it gets as hot and heavy as I want and then some. So it's not for most people, if you back off the gas and try to hit the brakes, it will send you off the course, just like them super sports cars. You did not buy it to go 45 MPH did you?
